Institutional Placement Package
At AER, we do everything in our power to ensure that you are prepared for the realities of prison life in either the CA state or federal prison system. AER clients all receive one-on-one counseling with counselors that have first-hand knowledge of prison conditions in both the Federal Bureau of Prisons and CA prison system. What is the food like? How violent are the various institutions? What if I get sick or injured? Any question you may have about the ordeal you face, AER’s counselors will have the answers.
Federal and State Facility Reviews
Whether you are a self-surrender client or in custody awaiting designation or endorsement to a federal or CA prison, accurate information about prison life and prison conditions can help alleviate the anxieties you and your family feel. AER provides clients with Federal Bureau of Prisons and CA prison facility reviews that often include personal on-the-yard introductions and hand-written letters from current or former inmates from the institution where you will be incarcerated.
Our staff has over 37 years of combined experience in numerous federal and state prisons for men and women. Our counselors are able to call on inmate-friends, clients and ex-prison-mates in countless CA prison and Federal Bureau of Prisons institutions throughout the country. Institutional Placement Packages
Each of our clients receives an institutional placement package for the facility where they will be incarcerated. Before they ever “hit the yard” they know intimate details about prison conditions at the institution where they have been designated or endorsed. AER clients know, in advance, about prison recreation, education, medical care, job availability, UNICOR (Federal Prison Industries) employment, housing, prison food and prison procedural paperwork.
AER’s counselors provide clients with examples of every document that an inmate (male or female) will see during their incarceration in either the Federal Bureau of Prisons or CA prison system. AER’s placement packages contain national menus, incident reports, A&O (Admissions and Orientation) handbooks and more. Each of these documents are from our ex-inmate counselors own paperwork; they come directly from people that have lived prison life and endured prison conditions first-hand.
